Application: long-term residence

A short form: contacts, your years of legal residence and your absences over the five years. Here the absence rule decides more cases than the length of residence, so we work it out before filing rather than after a refusal.

2 Your situation

If you hold two passports, name the one you are applying under

Each of them means a criminal-record certificate, and each has its own apostille routine. The dashboard shows practice notes for these countries. Start typing a name, pick it from the list and press Add.

Each has their own application, so the price is per application

Which type are we applying for

The national one works in Spain. The long-term EU one additionally allows moving to another member state under its own procedure

The main route is five years. The national type has separate grounds without the five-year requirement

The rule: a single absence of up to six months, no more than ten months in total over five years, or eighteen where the absences are work-related

Have you lived in another country over the last five years

This decides whether a criminal record certificate is asked for: in both hojas it carries the words "where applicable"

Do you have children of school age in your care

The national procedure asks for a report that they are enrolled at school

If they are already our client, you get 10 per cent off. We check it ourselves, nothing to prove.
